The Indian Army on Thursday successfully shot down a Pakistan Air Force F-16 fighter jet and captured its pilot alive in the Jaisalmer sector. The operation, according to official sources, was carried out with precision along the western border, and video evidence confirming the incident was shared via the Army’s official social media account.

The 58-second video released by the Indian Army shows the country’s missile defence system in action, successfully striking and neutralizing aerial targets.

According to media reports, India shot down a Pakistani Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft inside Pakistan’s Punjab province late Thursday, delivering a significant blow to Islamabad’s aerial surveillance capabilities. The strike also brought down three Pakistani fighter jets—an F-16 and two JF-17s—that were reportedly flying in coordination with the AWACS.
