Panchkula, May 2
Bollywood singer Mika Singh visited Panchkula on Saturday and met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s political advisor, Tarun Bhandari, at his official residence, drawing a large crowd of onlookers eager to catch a glimpse of the singer.
During his visit, Mika Singh said he has a close friendship with Tarun Bhandari and makes a point of meeting him whenever he travels to Delhi or Chandigarh.
Speaking to the media, the singer extended his best wishes to the BJP’s mayoral and councilor candidates for the upcoming municipal elections. He said the government is doing good work and that he believes it will continue to perform well and deliver.
On being asked about participating in election campaigning, Mika Singh said he would take part in rallies if requested by Tarun Bhandari.
BJP candidates from wards 11, 12, and 13 were also present on the occasion and welcomed the singer during his visit.
The visit comes amid ongoing political activity in Panchkula ahead of the municipal corporation elections.
