BJP to launch ‘Haryana Seva’ portal to connect intellectuals, socially active citizens

Haryana BJP president Dr Archana Gupta announced a series of statewide organisational and public outreach programmes, including a five-phase Guru Purnima campaign, the launch of a new service portal, and Tiranga Yatras across the state, while addressing a press conference in Panchkula. Dr Gupta said the Guru Purnima programme, which began across the country on 29 July, would continue until 20 February. She said the campaign aims to spread the teachings of Guru Shri Ravidas Maharaj among the younger generation.

She announced that on 4 August, sacred soil from a ceremonial urn (Kalash) would be dispatched from Gurugram to all districts of Haryana before being taken to mandals and villages across the state. She said the programme in Gurugram would be attended by the Chief Minister and several other ministers. Dr Gupta further said the concluding phase of the programme would involve a yatra beginning from Jalandhar in Punjab which will pass through Haryana before culminating in Varanasi.

She also announced that Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra programmes would be organised on 15 August in every district, Assembly constituency and mandals across Haryana. Expressing confidence in the newly constituted Haryana BJP team, Dr Gupta said she expected it to deliver better organisational performance in the state. The Haryana BJP chief also congratulated the state’s athletes for their performances at the Commonwealth Games and expressed happiness on their achievements. On the organisational matters, she said representation from Mewat and Mahendragarh districts would be included in the Haryana BJP team in the coming days.

Dr Gupta announced that the party would launch the ‘BJP for Haryana Seva’ portal to connect intellectuals and socially active individuals with the BJP. She said the platform would provide opportunities for people interested in social service to work alongside the party.

Speaking on the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections, Dr Gupta said the Haryana BJP organisation would work in Punjab whenever directed by the party leadership. She also expressed concern over the deletion of nearly 33 lakh voters in Haryana under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, describing it as “a matter of serious concern”. She said BJP workers would assist those whose names were removed for not submitting forms by helping them complete the required documentation.
