Chamba mishap: PM condoles loss of lives

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the families of seven people killed in a bus crash in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district. The private bus overturned and fell onto a lower road at around 7:15am on Saturday, the police said. Eleven passengers were injured in the accident. Prime Minister Modi said that the loss of lives was “deeply saddening” and extended his thoughts to the families who had lost loved ones. He also wished those injured a speedy recovery. The accident has prompted a response from local authorities, while the injured are being treated following the crash.
