‘Rhinox Plumbing secures US water safety certifications’

Rhinox Plumbing has obtained two internationally recognised water safety certifications, NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372, in a move the company says underlines its commitment to product safety and regulatory compliance.
The approvals were granted following laboratory testing at accredited facilities in the United States under the supervision of NSF International, a global public health and safety organisation.

NSF/ANSI 61 confirms that Rhinox press fittings and plumbing systems are suitable for contact with drinking water. The standard assesses whether materials used in plumbing products could release harmful contaminants into potable water supplies.

NSF/ANSI 372 verifies compliance with lead-free requirements set out in the Safe Drinking Water Act. The certification ensures that components contain a weighted average lead content of no more than 0.25%.
According to the company, the certifications allow its products to be accepted in markets including the United States, Canada and parts of the Middle East, as well as other regions that follow American-based water safety standards.

The NSF certification process includes material analysis, contaminant leaching assessments, verification of lead content and ongoing inspections of manufacturing facilities.

Rhinox Plumbing manufactures press fitting systems and pipeline solutions designed for drinking water and hygienic applications. The company says the new certifications strengthen its position as a supplier of compliant plumbing infrastructure for residential, commercial and institutional projects.
