All government, aided, recognised and private schools, colleges, universities and polytechnics in Punjab will remain closed till September 7 due to severe flooding across the state. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said the order was issued on the direction of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to ensure the safety of students and staff.
