Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday continued his overseas outreach in the Netherlands, promoting Punjab as an investment destination while engaging with business leaders and the Punjabi community. During talks with the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade, Mann called for stronger business links and encouraged Dutch companies to explore opportunities in sectors such as food processing and manufacturing. He said Punjab aims to expand exports and become more integrated into global supply chains.
At a roadshow in The Hague, he presented the state’s industrial potential, highlighting its workforce, infrastructure and investor-focused policies. Mann said recent reforms and a single-window clearance system are designed to make it easier for businesses to set up and expand.
The Chief Minister also emphasised shared cultural ties between Punjab and the Netherlands, noting that longstanding connections and a vibrant diaspora could help drive closer cooperation. In a community interaction, he met members of the Punjabi diaspora, recognising their contribution to strengthening economic and cultural links. He invited them to remain engaged with Punjab’s development and share ideas for future growth.
