Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) has received the ‘Great Place To Work’ certification for the period from October 2026 to October 2027, recognising its efforts to build an inclusive workplace centred on trust, employee well-being and professional growth.

The certification is based on an independent assessment of workplace culture and employee feedback through the Trust Index Survey. The evaluation covers key aspects such as credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
CDSL Managing Director and CEO Nehal Vora said the recognition reflected employees’ confidence in the organisation’s leadership and their sense of belonging to the institution. He said the company remained committed to creating an environment where employees could learn, contribute and grow.
Vora added that the recognition would strengthen CDSL’s focus on building a workplace based on trust, shared purpose and professional development.
As part of its employee development initiatives, CDSL provided an average of 21 hours of training per employee during the financial year 2025-26. The organisation also conducts employee engagement activities through platforms such as Townhalls, Guru Samvaad, Open House sessions and its Digital Suggestion Box.
The company has also introduced initiatives addressing employees’ physical, psychological, financial and social well-being.
Earlier this year, CDSL received the Best Institution for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion award at the Asia Asset Management Best of the Best Awards 2026.
Established in 1999, CDSL is Asia’s first listed depository and a Market Infrastructure Institution. It facilitates the electronic holding, settlement and transfer of securities and provides services to investors and other market participants. Its operations include a network of more than 590 depository participants.
The latest certification reinforces the company’s efforts to strengthen its workplace culture and invest in employee development.
