Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash is pure Bollywood glamour

Bollywood celebrities turned up in style at fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s annual Diwali party in Mumbai on Thursday. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar and several other prominent personalities attended the star-studded celebration.

Pictures shared by guests on social media offered glimpses of the lavish evening. Celebrity stylist Sufi Motiwala posted an Instagram Story featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posing for a selfie with him and Manish Malhotra. Designer Rakshit Singh shared a picture of Kareena Kapoor Khan posing for a selfie.

Actor Sayani Gupta also shared photographs from the party, including glimpses of golden floral decorations and an elaborate dessert spread featuring white chocolate cakes. Thanking the host, she wrote, “Thank you Manish for the warmest Diwali night. The cake was a showstopper.”

Namrata Zakaria shared pictures of cookies, sweets and other delicacies served at the celebration. In her Instagram post, she described the event as the party of the year and said more than 200 guests attended the gathering at Malhotra’s five-storey Pali Hill residence.

She also highlighted the elaborate food spread, Punjabi delicacies and guests dressed in sequins. According to her post, Shah Rukh Khan danced until dawn.

The guest list included several prominent names from Bollywood and the business world, including Nita Ambani, making the annual celebration one of Mumbai’s high-profile Diwali gatherings.
