Identical twin sisters Avisha Syal and Sirisha Syal from Auckland House School for Girls in Shimla have topped the ICSE Class 10 board examinations, securing 99.4 percent and 99.2 percent marks respectively. The students attributed their success to consistent efforts, guidance from teachers, and support from their families.
Speaking about their achievement, the sisters said they were happy with their performance and credited their parents, teachers, and school for their guidance. They highlighted the importance of staying consistent in studies while also engaging in outdoor activities.
The twins said they did not follow a rigid study schedule but focused on completing their daily work and revising regularly. Alongside academics, both actively participated in basketball and table tennis, and also pursued music by playing the guitar.
Daughters of doctors Kartik Syal and Geetika Syal, both students aspire to pursue engineering, with an interest in physics and software-related fields. They plan to continue their studies in Shimla.
The school recorded a 100 percent pass rate in the examination, with all 89 students clearing the board exams. Of these, 21 students secured around 90 percent of the marks, reflecting strong overall performance.
The results highlight the continued academic excellence of students in the region and the emphasis on balanced school development.
