Haryana to develop toy industry cluster under new industrial policy

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that the state will develop a dedicated toy industry cluster spanning 250 to 350 acres, as part of the upcoming Haryana Industrial Policy 2026, aimed at boosting investment, employment, and exports. Saini said the proposed toy industry cluster will give a new push to Haryana’s industrial growth and strengthen the country’s export potential. The initiative is part of the state government’s broader effort to attract investors to emerging sectors and promote large-scale job creation.

He said the new industrial policy is being designed to support industries through incentives such as capital subsidies, tax benefits, and skill development programmes. The policy also aims to improve the ease of doing business for companies setting up or expanding operations in the state. The government is placing special focus on sectors such as electronic system design and manufacturing, information technology, animation, visual effects, and gaming. Officials said the policy is intended to position Haryana as a key hub for these industries while encouraging innovation and technological advancement.

Saini also highlighted that the policy seeks balanced industrial development across districts and aims to generate employment opportunities at scale. He said the initiative aligns with the broader national vision of economic growth and industrial expansion. With the new policy in the final stages, the proposed toy cluster and sector-specific incentives are expected to draw fresh investments and enhance Haryana’s industrial landscape in the coming years.
