The ongoing session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly has been extended by two days and will now continue till 15 July, officials confirmed on Friday. Punjab’s Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Ravjot Singh, informed the House that the decision followed a recommendation from the Business Advisory Committee. The extension was approved during the Assembly proceedings. Originally, the ninth session of the 16th Punjab Legislative Assembly was scheduled for just two days—10 and July 11. However, the new dates now include 14 and 15 July, allowing for further legislative business and discussions.
