Zee TV is set to bring its comedy cooking reality show Maa Hai Na to television following its successful digital run on ZEE5. Premiering from July 4, the show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 6 pm, celebrating the bond between mothers and their children through cooking, conversations and family moments.
Hosted by Shilpa Shetty Kundra and produced by Neeti and Preeti under Lil Frodo Productions, Maa Hai Na features six Gen Z personalities teaming up with their mothers and loved ones in a series of culinary challenges. Beyond the kitchen, the show focuses on personal stories, shared memories, and meaningful conversations that reflect the strength of family relationships.
The participants include Sunita Ahuja with her daughter, Tina Ahuja; Urvashi Dholakia with her son, Kshitij Dholakia; Tanya Mittal with her mother, Sunita Mittal; Gullu with his mother, Munesh Tanwar; Shahida Ansari with her nephew, Afghan; and Bhagyashree E. Sharma with her mother, Rinju Sharma. Each episode brings together different generations through cooking, friendly competition, and emotional interactions. The reality show earned appreciation during its digital release on ZEE5 for its relatable family dynamics and emotional storytelling. By combining light-hearted entertainment with family values, the series highlights the unique relationship shared between mothers and their children.
With its television premiere, Maa Hai Na aims to reach a wider audience while continuing to celebrate motherhood, family values, and togetherness through a blend of food, entertainment, and heartfelt moments.
