Period action film unveils behind-the-scenes video of ‘Virupaksha’ actor training in archery, horse riding and rock climbing

Telugu actor Samyuktha, known for her performances in films such as “Virupaksha”, is set to take on a warrior role in the upcoming period action film “Swayambhu”.

On her birthday, the makers released a behind-the-scenes video showing Samyuktha’s rigorous preparation for the role of Bhoomi. The actor is seen training in archery, horse riding and rock climbing as she prepares for the film’s action sequences.

The makers also shared a birthday message describing Bhoomi as a fearless warrior, giving audiences a glimpse of the physical preparation involved in bringing the character to screen.

The video follows the release of “Swayambhu’s” teaser and first single, “Ra Ra Dheevara”, which introduced the film’s historical setting, larger-than-life scale and themes of courage, heritage and legacy.

Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, the film features music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by KK Senthil Kumar and editing by Tammiraju. It is produced by Bhuvan and Shreekar under Pixel Studios.

Shot over 170 days, “Swayambhu” is scheduled for a worldwide release in Summer 2026, with the exact release date yet to be announced.
