SheBuilds platform designed to empower women entrepreneurs: Sakshi Katyal

Chandigarh, May 20

CII IWN Chandigarh Tricity Chapter Chairperson Sakshi Katyal on Wednesday said the ‘SheBuilds’ platform is designed to strengthen collaboration among women entrepreneurs and support women professionals in their growth journeys, adding that partnerships such as those with the Social Welfare Department of the UT Administration are helping build a more inclusive ecosystem.

Chief Guest Hargunjit Kaur, Managing Director of Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Ltd, said women leaders today were managing responsibilities and professional success with confidence and determination. She encouraged women to embrace leadership roles with pride and purpose.

Speaking on the importance of shared participation in women’s empowerment, Akal Spring Ltd Managing Director Sandeep Riat said creating a progressive workplace required equal support and involvement from men. He added that organizations should focus on talent, capability, and growth instead of gender.

IWN Northern Region Chairperson Nandini Chaudhry said women were creating opportunities for themselves and driving meaningful transformation across industries. She said leadership should focus on creating opportunities for others and contributing towards stronger industries and inclusive development.

The CII Indian Women Network Chandigarh Tricity Chapter organized the SheBuilds conclave on the theme “From Vision to Venture: Women Building Tomorrow” at the CII Northern Region Headquarters in Sector 31 A, Chandigarh. The event focused on encouraging women’s entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership while promoting discussions on inclusive, future-ready businesses.
