Shimla, April 15
Himachal Pradesh is likely to witness a wet spell from April 17 to 20 as a fresh western disturbance is expected to affect the western Himalayan region from April 15, the Meteorological Center in Shimla said on Tuesday. The weather office has also issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, with speeds around 30 to 40 kilometers per hour at isolated places in four to seven of the 12 districts on Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, the weather remained largely dry in the 24 hours ending 6 pm on Monday, the Met Office said. Keylong recorded the lowest night temperature at 0.4 degrees Celsius, while Una was the hottest during the day with a maximum temperature of 34.2 degrees Celsius, it added.
