Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday flagged off a delegation of women sarpanches and panchayat members from Sirhind railway station for a training and exposure visit to Maharashtra.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mann said the tour aimed to provide participants with fresh experiences and ideas through discussions with panchayat representatives from other states. He added that the initiative was designed to help improve village governance in Punjab, and wished the delegation success in their visit.
