Centre launched under Haryana’s Global Capability Centre policy

Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh inaugurated Prudential Financial Inc. (PFI)’s first Innovation Centre in India at Cyber City, Gurugram, on Monday, with the centre set up under Haryana’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) Policy to support global investment, innovation and high-skilled operations.

Rao Narbir Singh said PFI, a nearly 150-year-old Fortune 200 company, has chosen Gurugram for its first India Innovation Centre, reflecting growing confidence in Haryana among global companies.

He said Gurugram has emerged as a major global business hub, supported by its ecosystem in financial services, information technology, consulting and modern technology. The establishment of PFI’s centre will further strengthen the city’s position, he added.

The minister said the launch under Haryana’s GCC Policy showed global companies growing confidence in the state. He congratulated the PFI team on the initiative and said Haryana has a strong pool of skilled, high-quality human resources, making it an attractive destination for global companies.

Rao Narbir Singh also said that, based on the feedback he received, Haryana’s GCC Policy was among the leading policies of different states. He said the incentives offered under the policy were higher than those in other locations and were provided expeditiously, without unnecessary hurdles.
