The National Investigation Agency on Wednesday attached two residential properties in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir belonging to an accused in the 2017 attack on a Central Reserve Police Force installation at Lethpora. The action was carried out against Fayaz Ahmad Magray following a court order, officials said.

According to officials, the agency attached a two-story house and a single-story house located in Lethpora, both linked to Magray, who is accused of the fidayeen attack on a CRPF training center in the area. The attack had resulted in the killing of five CRPF personnel, while three terrorists were eliminated in the subsequent counter-operation.

The seizure was carried out pursuant to an order issued by the NIA court in Jammu on March 5.

Officials said the attachment is part of ongoing legal proceedings in the case being investigated by the agency. Further action in the matter will follow in accordance with due process of law.
