Commented on the views of the Quad countries regarding India-China relations, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said that it’s for the two of us to discuss and find a solution and we are not looking to other countries to resolve our issues. Speaking to the media in Japan, he expressed hope that Beijing would adhere to existing agreements. When asked about the ongoing U.S elections, Jaishankar refrained from making any comments, saying, “Don’t expect any inappropriate remarks from me.” He emphasized that it is not suitable for individuals from one democracy to comment on the internal matters of another democracy.
