Kullu, April 14
Congress workers on Monday paid tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary by offering floral homage at the party office in Kullu and reaffirming their commitment to his ideals of social justice, equality, and constitutional values.
During the program, leaders remembered Ambedkar’s role as the architect of the Constitution and highlighted his lifelong struggle against social evils such as untouchability and caste discrimination.
District Congress president Ses Ram Azad said the party reaffirmed its resolve to uphold the values of liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution. He added that the party would also work to address rising drug abuse among youth.
Leaders said Ambedkar’s contributions towards the upliftment of the Dalit community and nation-building continue to inspire future generations and pledged to follow the path he set.
