Security concerns have emerged in Indore ahead of Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh’s scheduled concert on November 15, after three schools and the office of Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav reportedly received emails threatening bomb attacks.

The threatening emails have prompted a security investigation, with local police and security agencies examining the matter.
According to ADCP Rajesh Dandotiya, several schools have received emails threatening to blow up their premises in connection with the concert. He confirmed that the matter is under investigation and that authorities have initiated steps to identify those responsible.

Speaking to the media, the ADCP said legal action was being initiated based on technical evidence. Investigating agencies are examining the emails and other digital clues to establish their origin and trace the individuals behind the threats.

Meanwhile, the Bomb Squad inspected the reported premises as a precautionary measure to rule out any potential threat.
The incident has raised concerns among school authorities, parents and residents, particularly as educational institutions are among the reported recipients of the threatening messages.
Police officials are continuing their investigation and closely monitoring the situation.

Meanwhile, the status of Diljit Dosanjh’s proposed November 15 concert remains uncertain, as the necessary permission for the event is still awaited. Authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the origin of the emails or whether any suspicious objects were recovered during the security checks.

The police have urged people not to circulate unverified information while the investigation is underway. Further action is expected as investigators analyse the technical evidence and work towards identifying those behind the threatening messages.
