ABVP delegation meets Kullu SP, calling the cases against students unjustified after a peaceful fee-hike protest in Dhalpur.

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has demanded the withdrawal of FIRs registered against its members following a protest over fee hikes held in Dhalpur on August 20.
An ABVP delegation met the Kullu Superintendent of Police and urged authorities to revoke the cases filed against the protesting students. ABVP worker Saransh said the protest was peaceful and non-political, with no vandalism or inconvenience to the public. He said ABVP has consistently raised students’ concerns before the government and organized protests over various issues. According to him, the August 20 demonstration was conducted peacefully, making the FIRs against students unjustified.
The organization has urged the police and administration to cancel all FIRs registered against the students as soon as possible.
