Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, which has topped the TRP charts for three consecutive weeks, is highlighting the often-overlooked emotional responsibilities of married men through its ongoing storyline. Actor Sheizaan Khan says his character, Siddhu, reflects the challenges many men face in balancing relationships within the family.
The show, starring Amandeep Sidhu and Sheizaan Khan, currently follows Siddhu as he struggles to maintain harmony between his mother, Durgawati, and his wife, Sneha. The storyline explores the emotional burden of balancing two important relationships while maintaining family unity.
Speaking about the track, Sheizaan Khan said portraying Siddhu has helped him understand how difficult it can be to maintain peace between a mother and a wife. He said conversations often focus on the compromises women make after marriage, but men also face emotional challenges as they try to balance both relationships without hurting either side. Although he is not married, Sheizaan said he has seen several of his friends experience similar situations and believes the show sheds light on an aspect of marriage that is rarely discussed. He expressed hope that viewers would connect with Siddhu’s journey and recognize the silent emotional burden carried by those who often become the peacemakers in their families.
