Srinagar, April 24
The National Investigation Agency has attached a plot of land in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir belonging to a terror accused who is currently in custody in a case registered under multiple anti-terror and arms-related laws, officials said on Friday.
According to officials, the attached property is located in the SK Bagh area of Budgam and belongs to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, a resident of Sheik-ul-Alam Colony in Nowgam, Srinagar.
Parimoo is presently in the custody of the National Investigation Agency in connection with a case registered under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Arms Act, and the Explosive Substances Act.
Officials said the attachment of the property is part of ongoing legal proceedings in the case being investigated by the agency. No further details regarding the investigation were immediately shared.
The action marks the continuation of the NIA’s investigation into the case, with authorities expected to proceed further in accordance with anti-terrorism laws.
