CM Sukhu to visit Kangra on April 21, inaugurate key projects

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will visit Kangra district on April 21 to visit multiple locations, the official sources said. Sharing details, the official said that the Chief Minister’s convoy will depart from the Public Works Department Rest House at 10 am and proceed to Darang in Jawalamukhi, where he is scheduled to arrive around 10:10 am. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone of a new electricity department building at the site. Thereafter, the convoy will then leave for the Sapri helipad at 10:30 am and arrive at 10:40 am, from where he will depart by helicopter for Fatehpur at around 10:45 am, the official said.

The helicopter is expected to land at Wazir Ram Singh Stadium in Fatehpur at approximately 11 am. On arrival in the Fatehpur Legislative Assembly constituency, the Chief Minister will be received by Congress workers.

The Chief Minister will then proceed to the Mini Secretariat in Fatehpur and  inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several development projects.  At around 12:05 pm, the Chief Minister will leave for Sathana and is expected to arrive at 12:30 pm. He will perform the groundbreaking ceremony for a new bridge project there. The  convoy will subsequently depart for Jakhbar at 12:50 pm, where the Chief Minister will attend a public meeting at the rally ground at around 1 pm.

Later in the day, at approximately 1:45 pm, he will leave for the Tourist Information Center at Pong Dam and arrive around 2 pm. The Chief Minister will hold a meeting. with officials at the venue, where his lunch is also scheduled.

The visit is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to accelerate development works and strengthen infrastructure in the region.
