Speaking to reporters, Kumar said a training camp for district Congress presidents from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will be held in Kangra from April 21 to 30. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will interact with participants during the camp. He said the initiative is aimed at infusing new energy among party workers and strengthening grassroots coordination.
Kumar said that as part of the organizational exercise, Block Congress Presidents will soon be appointed across the state. He added that district-level executive committees will also be constituted to streamline party functioning.
He expressed confidence that the party is prepared for the upcoming panchayati raj and municipal corporation elections, describing them as an important step towards future electoral challenges. He said a committee will be formed to authorize candidates for these elections and urged workers to support officially nominated candidates.
