Dehra, April 10
A tragic road accident was reported in Himachal Pradesh’s Dehra area on Friday after a tractor-trolley carrying devotees overturned near Dhaliyara. The vehicle was en route from Chintpurni Temple to Jwalamukhi Temple when it lost control at a sharp turn.
Police teams reached the spot promptly and, with assistance from local residents, shifted the injured to Civil Hospital Dehra. Three people were declared dead, while several others are undergoing treatment. Critically injured victims have been referred to Tanda Medical College.
Around 35 devotees, reportedly from Punjab, were traveling in the vehicle. Police have informed the victims’ families and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
