The Haryana government on Thursday directed all departments, boards, corporations, and autonomous bodies to clear files shown as pending on the centralized file movement and tracking information system within 15 days. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has instructed all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, managing directors, divisional commissioners, and deputy commissioners to ensure the disposal of such cases and update their status on the portal within the given timeline.

A large number of files have been marked as pending on the CFM and TIS portal since 2025. In many cases, files may have already been disposed of at the physical level, but their status has not been updated on the digital portal.

All departments have now been asked to verify such cases, reconcile records, and update the status on the portal to the correct value. After the 15-day exercise is completed, the data available on the CFM and TIS portal will be treated as final and authentic for all monitoring purposes. This data may also be used to review departmental performance and assign responsibility for delays. Departments have also been told to ensure that all file movements are regularly updated on the portal going forward, so that differences between physical and digital records do not arise again.
