Actor Akshay Kumar injured himself while performing a stunt on the sets of his upcoming horror comedy film Bhooth Bangla. The makers of the movie shared a behind-the-scenes video on Thursday that showed the actor executing a jump kick in mid-air before losing his balance on landing and falling.
The date of the incident and the extent of Kumar’s injury remain unclear. The short clip captures Kumar, who is known for performing his own stunts in films. He is currently shooting for Bhooth Bangla, which is directed by veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan.
This project marks their reunion after 15 years. The duo last worked together on the 2010 film Khatta Meetha. They have earlier collaborated on several hit comedies, including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Bhagam Bhag. The film also stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rajpal Yadav. Further information on Kumar’s condition and its possible effect on the shooting schedule is awaited.
