Former Pentagon UFO investigator Luis Elizondo has made explosive claims, stating that the US has recovered “vehicles of unknown origin,” including one from the infamous 1947 Roswell UFO crash. Elizondo, who served as a counterintelligence official, revealed to the UK-based news outlet Daily Mail that not only were these vehicles recovered, but the US also obtained “biological specimens,” referring to the alleged occupants of these crafts.

Elizondo’s revelations come as part of his press tour for his new memoir, which delves into his experiences and the secretive world of UFO investigations. Among the shocking details, he disclosed a 2016 plan, codenamed “Project Interloper,” where he and his military colleagues attempted to capture a UFO in the ocean by coordinating with the Navy and other branches, according to the UK based news outlet.

In an interview with News Nation, Elizondo emphasized that these objects are neither from the US nor any other known foreign nation. He boldly declared, “We are not alone in this universe,” asserting that the US government has been aware of extraterrestrial life for decades.

Elizondo first gained national attention in 2017 when he exposed the US military’s mishandling of UFO data. His involvement with the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) and subsequent whistleblowing brought him fame and a leading role in a History Channel docu-series, the news outlet said.

In 2020, the Pentagon officially released three UFO videos that Elizondo had leaked, showing US Navy pilots encountering “unexplained aerial phenomena” (UAP). These objects exhibited flight characteristics that defied conventional physics, including extreme maneuverability. Despite corroboration from figures like the late Senator Harry Reid, the Department of Defense has denied Elizondo’s claims, asserting that he had no official role in UFO investigations. Critics of the Pentagon’s stance suggest a coordinated effort to discredit Elizondo, who filed a formal complaint in 2021, accusing top military officials of attempting to silence him, the Daily Mail reported.
