Punjab Police arrest man with grenades, probe ISI link

The Punjab Police have arrested a man in Tarn Taran district and recovered two hand grenades from him, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said in his post on X on Friday. The accused, identified as Ravinder Singh alias Ravi, was allegedly in touch with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and had received the consignment across the border, according to preliminary investigation. The case has been registered at Gharinda police station in Amritsar. Police said further investigation is underway to trace the wider network.
