Punjab Water Resources Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal on Wednesday said that flood control rooms across the state are operating round the clock to assist citizens during emergencies. The Minister shared dedicated helpline numbers for each district, urging people to use them in case of floods or related crises. The control rooms, he said, are equipped with modern communication systems and staffed with trained personnel to coordinate relief and rescue efforts effectively.
Goyal added that the state government has implemented robust flood mitigation measures and preparedness protocols to address potential challenges. He appealed to residents to remain vigilant and contact the nearest control room in case of any emergency.
