Actress Simran Kaur says Radha’s journey reflects courage to rebuild life after difficult relationship
Chandigarh: Actress Simran Kaur says her character Radha’s pursuit of financial independence in “Humari Radha” highlights the strength women can find in rebuilding their lives after difficult relationships.
In the recently released promo of Anmol TV’s first original fiction show, Radha draws inspiration from Ganga Mai of “Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan”, who encourages her to turn her passion for cooking into a source of income as she faces an uncertain future without Girdhar.
Describing this phase as “Radha 2.0”, Kaur said the character’s decision marks a new beginning as she seeks to rebuild her life on her own terms. Ganga Mai’s experience of being abandoned by her husband creates an emotional bond between the two characters, she added.
Kaur said Ganga Mai and Sneha’s guidance helps Radha understand that a difficult relationship need not define her future. She expressed hope that the storyline would connect with women seeking the confidence to start afresh.
However, Radha’s efforts face resistance from Shanaya, who attempts to disrupt her plans. The story follows Radha’s journey of self-discovery as she works towards financial independence and a secure future for herself and her child.
Produced by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, “Humari Radha” airs daily at 9.30 pm on Anmol TV.
