Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan continues to enjoy strong audience support after recently securing the top position on the Hindi General Entertainment Channel charts. Speaking about the role, actress Amandeep Sidhu said Sneha’s refusal to silently accept what she believes is unfair sets her apart from many television protagonists.
“I have played several strong female leads, but what sets Sneha apart is her refusal to quietly accept what she believes is unfair. The current track sees her dealing with the consequences of choices made by others that changed the course of her life and put her dreams on hold,” Amandeep said.
She added that Sneha’s struggle is not driven by revenge but by a desire for accountability and recognition of the impact of those decisions.
“What I admire most is that she is not seeking revenge or trying to hurt Durgawati or Siddhu. She simply wants people to acknowledge the impact of their actions and understand where they went wrong. Her strength lies in her conviction and in her belief that no setback is powerful enough to stop her from eventually achieving her dreams,” the actress said.
According to Amandeep, portraying a character with such emotional depth has been a rewarding experience, particularly because Sneha continues to fight for her education, future, and self-respect despite the challenges she faces.
As the narrative progresses, viewers can expect heightened emotional drama as Siddhu attempts to regain Sneha’s trust while tensions between Sneha and Durgawati escalate. These evolving relationships are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the next chapter of the story.
