Seven Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs resigned after being denied tickets for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, saying they had “lost faith” in the party and its leader, Arvind Kejriwal. Delhi will vote in a single phase on February 5, with results to be announced on February 8. The leaders who resigned from AAP include Bhavna Gaur (Palam), Bhupinder Singh Joon (Bijwasan), Pawan Sharma (Adarsh Nagar), Madan Lal (Kasturba Nagar), Rajesh Rishi (Janakpuri), Rohit Kumar Mehrolia (Trilokpuri), and Naresh Yadav (Mehrauli).
