New Delhi, December 18
National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against two associates of designated Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh, alias Landa, in a Punjab terror conspiracy case. Jaspreet Singh, alias Jass, from Ferozepur, Punjab, and Baljeet Singh, alias Rana Bhai, from Badwani, Madhya Pradesh, were charged in the NIA Special Court in Mohali. Both are linked to the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) group and accused of participating in a terror gang organized by Landa, who operates from abroad, the NIA said in an official statement.
Investigations revealed Jass acted as an on-ground operative, aiding Landa in drug smuggling and extortion to fund BKI activities. Rana Bhai was allegedly involved in manufacturing and supplying weapons to Landa’s gang and other criminal networks across the country.
The NIA seized arms, ammunition, narcotics, drug money, and digital devices during the investigation. The agency noted that Rana Bhai used social media platforms to facilitate weapon supply. Further inquiries into the case are ongoing.
