The arrest was made by the Anti-Gangster Task Force as part of an ongoing crackdown on organised crime networks operating across states. The identity of the accused hasn’t been disclosed so far.
Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said the arrested individual is linked to an inter-state criminal network associated with the Lawrence gang. He said a .32 bore pistol, along with three live cartridges, was recovered from the accused.
