Punjab FC has officially welcomed 29-year-old Argentine midfielder Norberto Ezequiel Vidal as its fifth foreign signing for the 2024–25 season. “In 2019, he joined San Martin SJ in Argentina, followed by a move to Atletico Alvarado in 2020, where he scored five goals in 37 games. After a brief stint with Independiente Rivadavia, Vidal signed with Persita Tangerang in 2022, netting 17 goals in 60 appearances over two seasons,” reported Sportstar.
“We are thrilled to have Vidal on the team for the upcoming season. He is an excellent player who will increase our midfield’s speed and creativity. I wish him a successful season with us,” said Nikolaos Topoliatis, the technical director of Punjab FC.
