The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has named Nitin Nabin as its next national president, with the formal swearing-in scheduled for Tuesday at the party headquarters in New Delhi. Nabin, 45, was the sole candidate to file his nomination for the post. He will take the oath of office at 11:30 am on January 20 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He will succeed JP Nadda.
