Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday criticized the Congress party for allegedly making anti-national statements during their visits abroad. The Prime Minister alleged that the Congress party is controlled by “tudke tudke gangs and urban naxals.” Modi accused Congress of harboring disdain for traditional practices, stating, “Today’s Congress even hates Ganpati Puja.” He recalled an incident where the Karnataka government imprisoned a Ganesh idol in a police van, highlighting Congress’s tendency toward appeasement.
During a rally, the Prime Minister emphasized that the highest participation in traditional skills comes from SC/ST and OBC communities, accusing Congress of obstructing their progress. “We have put an end to the anti-Dalit and anti-backward mindset within the government,” he asserted, pointing to the benefits these communities have seen from the Vishwakarma Yojana over the past year. Modi concluded by noting that India’s textile industry is poised for resurgence, with initiatives like the ‘PM Mitra Park’ in Amravati aimed at restoring the sector’s ancient glory.
