Mark Zuckerberg Becomes World’s Second-Richest person

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has surpassed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to become the world’s second-richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Zuckerberg’s net worth has reached $206 billion, placing him $1 billion ahead of Bezos, whose wealth stands at $205 billion. The bulk of Zuckerberg’s fortune comes from his approximately 13% stake in Meta Platforms, formerly known as Facebook, as reported in a July 2024 filing, according to the media reports.

Currently, Zuckerberg trails Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk by nearly $50 billion. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index updates its rankings daily based on New York trading data.
