Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday promised seven key guarantees the party promises to deliver if voted into power. Kharge outlined the seven commitments, starting with financial support for women, who would receive Rs 2,000 per month. Besides it, additionally, the Congress will provide Rs 500 monthly for gas cylinders. Kharge further pledged that pensions under the Old Pension Scheme will be reinstated and implemented for various groups, including the elderly, specially-abled, and widows, each receiving Rs 6,000 as pension. He also promised 2 lakh permanent jobs for the youth and caste survey.
