Chandigarh July 18
Chandigarh Golf Club has been connected to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) by IndianOil Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL), marking a significant step towards cleaner and more sustainable energy use in the city.
With the commissioning of the PNG connection, the club’s kitchen operations will now receive a continuous supply of natural gas, replacing the use of LPG cylinders. The transition is expected to improve operational efficiency, enhance safety, reduce carbon emissions, and promote environmentally sustainable practices.
IndianOil Adani Gas Private Limited said the project reflects its commitment to expanding clean energy infrastructure in Chandigarh and supporting sustainable urban development. The company also thanked the Chandigarh Golf Club management for joining its green energy initiative.
IOAGPL continues to expand its Piped Natural Gas network for domestic, commercial, and industrial consumers across the city. The company is also promoting Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a cleaner transport fuel in line with the Government of India’s vision to increase the share of natural gas in the country’s energy mix.
