Six variants offer claimed IDC range of up to 200 km; priced from Rs 99,999 with a 10-year battery warranty and 10,000-km service interval

Ather Energy on Saturday launched its new electric scooter, Konarc, in Chandigarh, with prices starting at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). Deliveries of select variants would begin in phases, the company said.
Konarc is available in six variants across the S and Z product lines, with claimed IDC range options of up to 200 km. The company said the scooter has a service interval of 10,000 km.
All variants are equipped with Ather’s fifth-generation Bedrock battery pack, backed by a 10-year or 1,00,000-km warranty, whichever is earlier, with a minimum 70 per cent state-of-health guarantee at the end of the coverage period.
The scooter features a 14-inch front alloy wheel, 12-inch rear alloy wheel, 1,352-mm wheelbase and long-travel suspension. It is also Ather’s first scooter with metal panels on the rear side and a steel unibody chassis.
Among the features offered are the Advanced Electronic Braking System, MagicKey, AutoPop and AirWalk. Konarc also comes with an integrated onboard charger and charging cable.
Ather said its market share in Punjab increased from 7.9 per cent in Q1 FY26 to 10.8 per cent in Q1 FY27, with 82 per cent year-on-year growth, citing Vahan data. It sold 1,011 units in the state during the quarter.
In Haryana, the company said its market share rose from 3.4 per cent in Q1 FY26 to 8.5 per cent in Q1 FY27, with 174 per cent year-on-year growth. It sold 383 units during the quarter, according to Vahan data cited by the company.
Hrishikesh Thite, VP, Business, Ather Energy, said Punjab and Haryana were important markets for the company and that Konarc was aimed at buyers considering electric two-wheelers.
Konarc joins Ather’s existing 450 Series and Rizta models in its product portfolio.
