Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects in Delhi today, emphasizing improved ‘Ease of Living’ for residents. The programme, held at Ashok Vihar, marks a significant step toward enhancing the city’s education and housing infrastructure. Key highlights include the inauguration of advanced academic blocks at the Eastern Campus in Surajmal Vihar, East Delhi, and the Western Campus in Dwarka. Additionally, the foundation stone will be laid for Veer Savarkar College in Roshanpura, Najafgarh, envisioned as a state-of-the-art educational institution.
Delhi, known as a hub for education, continues to attract students nationwide. The new projects, with a combined investment exceeding ₹600 crore, aim to bolster academic infrastructure and create world-class learning environments. In the housing sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate 1,675 flats constructed under the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project. These homes promise healthier and better living conditions for beneficiaries. Modi will also hand over keys to some recipients during the event.
