40 Delhi schools receive bomb threat

 Around 40 prominent schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday morning, with the sender demanding $30,000, according to media reports. Most of the affected schools immediately suspended classes and students were sent home as a precautionary measure, according to officials. The affected institutions, include Delhi Public School (DPS), RK Puram, GD Goenka, Paschim Vihar, The British School, Chanakyapuri and The Mother’s International School, Aurobindo Marg. Police are investigating the incident, which has caused widespread concern among parents and school authorities.
