Panchkula, October 16
Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, expressed his gratitude after being unanimously elected as legislative party leader. “It is my good fortune to have been elected and given the opportunity to serve Haryana’s 2.80 crore family members as their humble servant,” Saini said.
After a meeting with the party’s MLAs in Panchkula, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that Nayab Singh Saini has been unanimously elected as the leader of the Legislative Party.
Saini praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him “the world’s most popular leader,” and emphasized that the state’s development under the “double engine” government—both at the central and state levels—will continue. “We must work to establish Haryana as a leading state without pause,” Saini added.
Saini also extended his thanks to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and the BJP’s national leadership for their support. He pledged to uphold the party’s mission of service, assuring that the Haryana government would be committed to good governance, equality, and the welfare of the poor.
“I want to assure Prime Minister Modi and every Haryanavi family that our government will work tirelessly to serve the people,” Saini said.
