A day after the BJP secured a historic victory in Haryana, newly elected Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in Delhi on Wednesday. The meeting was also attended by BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

The BJP won 48 out of 90 Assembly seats, gaining a majority in the state. After the meeting, Saini credited the win to PM Modi, praising the Prime Minister’s policies over the past decade. “The credit for this huge victory goes to PM Modi, whose policies and schemes have benefited the poor, farmers, youth, and women. His initiatives are for every section of society. This victory reflects the people’s love and affection for PM Modi,” Saini said. He also expressed gratitude to the people of Haryana and the party workers.

Saini further criticized Congress, highlighting their attempts to cast doubt on the election outcome by questioning electronic voting machines (EVMs).

“Four days ago, all the surveys were in favor of Congress, creating an environment that Congress would come to power. But I said that we have worked so much in these 10 years under PM Modi’s leadership that the people would make us win,” he said.
