An eight-year-old girl and her father were injured after two cars collided near Khera Bagda village on the Morni-Panchkula road, with a Dial-112 team rushing them to Sector 6 Civil Hospital.

Two people, including an eight-year-old girl, were injured after two cars collided near Khera Bagda village on the Morni-Panchkula road on Friday.

The injured were identified as eight-year-old Jeeva and her father, Narendra Kumar. Both were travelling in a car from Panchkula towards Tikkar Taal when the accident occurred.

According to the information available, the car carrying Narendra Kumar and his daughter reached near Khera Bagda village when a Skoda car coming from the Morni side collided with their vehicle.

The Skoda was reportedly carrying five youths from Peermuchhalla, Zirakpur, who were returning towards Zirakpur after visiting Morni.

The collision was reportedly severe, causing significant damage to both vehicles. Narendra Kumar and Jeeva sustained injuries in the accident.

Following the incident, a Dial-112 team reached the spot. The team comprised Dharmveer, Sanjay and Ajit. The police personnel immediately arranged for the injured to be taken to the Civil Hospital in Sector 6 with the assistance of an ambulance.

The injured were subsequently taken to the hospital, where they received medical treatment.

The accident caused panic at the spot, while further details regarding the circumstances leading to the collision were not immediately available.
